The Gentile Times are very important in the theology of Jehovah’s Witnesses. This book examines what the Scriptures tell us about the Gentile Times, about whether they started in 607BC and hence could have ended in AD1914.
This book examines closely the Bible accounts as to whether they support the date of 607BC for the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians under Nebuchadnezzar. It also suggests a Bible-based alternative event for the starting of the Gentile Times that can be dated with certainty. In both aspects this book supports the Bible record.
As the enthronement of Jesus Christ as king in the heavens in AD1914 is a core teaching of Jehovah’s Witnesses and is the basis of the authority of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, it behoves every one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to read and examine the evidence within this book for themselves. After all, what does truth have to fear?
